Azalea 'Cascade' #3

'Cascade' is an evergreen azalea (Glenn Dale hybrid) that features white flowers with sparse rose-pink spotting. It typically matures over time in a rounded compact form to 3-4' tall and to 4-6' wide. Small, single, funnel-shaped, hose-in-hose flowers (to 1 1/2" across) bloom in clusters in early season (April). Medium green leaves are evergreen. Parents are R. 'Willy' x R. 'Monozono'. It should be noted that R. 'Cascade' is also listed by Fred C. Galle as an evergreen white flowered azalea (Shammarello hybrid) with parents of R poukhanense x R. 'Indica Alba'.
