This Fescue/Rye Mix is comprised of beautiful, yet durable Turf-Type Tall Fescue with top quality Turf-Type Perennial Ryegrass. There are no “low-end” varieties in this mix! All varieties selected for this mixture show good to excellent ratings in NTEP* trials for wear and traffic tolerance and over-all turf quality.

NOTES ON TURF-TYPE TALL FESCUE:
Turf-Type Tall Fescue is known as a durable, drought tolerant grass that is much more fine bladed than the tall fescues of the past. Tall fescue generally germinates in 10-21 days.
NOTES ON TURF-TYPE PER. RYEGRASS:
Ryegrass varieties are very dark green and durable. They provide the excellent look of a well maintained lawn. Ryegrass varieties are selected for enhanced gray leaf spot resistance. Ryegrass exhibits quick germination and provides quick ground cover to hold the soil. Ryegrass often goes dormant before tall fescues. Ryegrass generally germinates in 7-10 days.
